Target
A Case Study

PROJECT OVERVIEW
For over 15 years, we had the incredible opportunity to design and illustrate for Target—one of the most iconic retailers in the world. From GiftCards to seasonal campaigns to large-scale murals, events and in-store displays, our work has spanned nearly every corner of their visual identity.

City Target Seattle
Designing a mural for City Target in downtown Seattle—just steps from Pike Place Market—was a chance for us to celebrate our hometown.

15 YEARS OF GIFTCARDS
Those little rectangles pack a surprising amount of storytelling potential. Each one gave us the chance to explore fun and seasonal concepts. It’s a small canvas, but one we never took for granted.

WOW CARDS
They weren’t just GiftCards, they were experiences. Each one doubled as a toy, game, or activity, giving customers (and us) something fun to play with long after the gift was given. We're partial to the squirt gun.

FRIGHT DONE RIGHT
After CSA's epic Halloween displays in 2003, Halloween at Target evolved into the holy grail for designers— at least it to us anyways. After a few years of working together, we had finally gotten the call.

PROJECT OZ
Project Oz was a fun and magical proof of concept we worked on with Target. It gave us the opportunity to reimagine how visual storytelling could unfold throughout the toy aisles. Sadly, this was never rolled out nation-wide.
