LEGO
Mural

PROJECT OVERVIEW
We were honored when the LEGO offices art department in Enfield, CT invited us to create a mural just outside their studio. Our task was to design something that would energize and inspire the artists who pass by each day. The result is a vibrant celebration of the many things we as creatives consume and thrive on: music, books, movies, toys, late nights, and the sparks that come from collaboration. This was a special project for us— but it was all the more special by being right outside the doors of one of the most imaginative companies in the world.

UNAUTHORIZED FANDOM
We’ve always loved LEGO—not just for the bricks themselves, but also for their support of fan-built creations around the world. Here are two unauthorized "brick-based" interpretations we couldn’t help making ourself.

LEGO DESIGN CAMP
In 2013, we had the honor of being keynote speakers at LEGO's annual Design Camp for their creative department. We couldn't just arrive empty handed, so we designed and made a 10' tall flat LEGO mosaic featuring our logo. Then we photographed it in our old barn, made it into a poster and brought one for each person in attendance.
